Historical Restoration | Repair
A successful restoration duplicates, as close as possible, the original style of the structure you are restoring. We pay close attention to the small details like pointing style, mortar, and what type of stones were used. This involves being sensitive to local practices and imitating the style of the original mason. We have worked on everything from restoring the brick and granite facade at the Tuxedo park free library to removing entire stone foundations and rebuilding. The perfect restoration is achieved when our work looks like it was never even done at all. Stone foundations are our speciality!
