The Hudson Valley has thousands of miles of stone walls that were traditionally used for property lines or containing livestock. When building these walls we use what’s at hand to finish off the top of the wall. Usually, this is informally done, but occasionally a client wants a more finished look. We can either set the stones as a mosaic cap or vertically for a truly unique coping. Compared to bluestone, fieldstone is limited in sizing but usually, it’s the perfect way to finish off a natural stone wall.
My passion for stone – construction started 25 years ago when I built my first wall and continues today in my company, Earth and Stone Masonry. With each project I construct, attention to detail is paramount.
